What to Expect on the First Visit

• A first trip to the dentist can be scary. Encourage your child to discuss any fear they may have. We are here to help and will explain everything in detail, answering any questions your child or you may have!
• Do not stress over the details of the visit. We want to make sure every child (and parent) feels comfortable!
• Be aware of certain “no-no” words that we will not use during your child’s appointment, such as “needle”, “drill”, “shot”, “pulling a tooth”, and more.
• Please allow our team, who are experienced in dealing with children’s dental anxiety, to explain the steps of the appointment to your child.
• During the first dental appointment, our team will complete a comprehensive dental examination and discuss any questions or concerns you may have. We will also review how to maintain a healthy smile and establish good oral habits!
